Make sure you’re on truepeoplesearch.com — the real site. There is a copycat at truepeoplesearch.net that is a different operation entirely; submitting your details there doesn’t remove anything and hands your information to a site you know nothing about.

Step-by-step removal

Go to the removal page: truepeoplesearch.com/removal.
Enter your name, city, and state, and work through the CAPTCHA. Expect multiple CAPTCHAs across the process — that’s normal here, not a sign something broke.
Find your listing in the results and select it. If several records look like you, check the age and relatives shown — remove each one that’s actually you.
Enter an email address to receive the removal confirmation, complete the final CAPTCHA, and submit.
You’ll get a confirmation; the listing typically drops within a day or two. If nothing happens, their support contact is support@truepeoplesearch.com.

What to watch out for

The clone site. Again: .com, not .net. This is the single most common mistake with this broker.
Multiple records. Past addresses often generate separate listings — search your previous cities too.
Use an email you don’t mind exposing to a data broker for the confirmation loop; any working inbox will do.
