Refund policy: 30 days, no questions
Within 30 days of your purchase, email support and say you want a refund. You get the full amount back. We do not ask why, we do not offer you a discount to stay, and we do not put you through a survey first. The refund is processed the same day we read your email; your bank usually shows it within five business days.
When we refund you we also stop all sweeps and delete your intake data, your proof screenshots, and your reports, per the retention terms in the privacy policy. Anything we already removed from a data broker stays removed — that work does not get undone.
How to cancel: two taps, on your phone
Open your account page, tap Manage billing, then tap Cancel plan. That's it. No phone call, no live chat, no "let me transfer you to retention." You can also use the manage-subscription link at the bottom of any receipt email, which goes to the same place.
Cancelling stops the renewal. Your service keeps running to the end of the term you already paid for — we keep sweeping, keep re-checking, and keep sending reports until that date, because you paid for it. Nothing is cut off early.
What happens to your data. On the day your term ends we stop all sweeps. Your intake details, proof screenshots, and reports are kept for a short retention window in case you come back or need a copy, then deleted per the privacy policy. If you want it all gone immediately, email support with "delete my account" and we do it rather than wait. And again: listings we already removed stay removed. Brokers will eventually re-list you from fresh public records, and after you cancel nobody is watching for that. That is why the service is annual: the watching is the product.
What we ask for, and what we never ask for
To find every version of your listings we need exactly what the brokers already publish about you. A broker's search index is built on name, age, and address history — so that is what we match against. Everything we ask for, a broker's own form or search requires.
Your details are stored in our customer database, used only to file opt-outs on your behalf, and never sold, rented, or shared with anyone but the specific broker a request is filed with. Full terms: privacy policy.
How removals actually work — and why some take weeks
Every data broker is required to offer an opt-out, and every one of them implements it differently. Some accept a form submission and drop the listing within a day. Some email you a confirmation link that has to be clicked. Some require a written request from an authorized agent, which is exactly why you sign the authorization at signup. A minority deliberately make the process slow and awkward, because their business depends on most people giving up.
Here is the actual timeline, broker class by broker class:
A listing only counts as removed when we have re-run the same search and photographed the empty result. Until then your report shows it as still open, with the stage it is at. And when a broker re-publishes you months later — many do — we catch it on the next cycle, re-file automatically, and tell you it happened.
We cover 690 sites. If you find yourself on one that isn't on our list, send us the link and we file against it anyway. Custom removals are unlimited on every plan.
Why we asked you for ID
Occasionally a broker refuses to process a removal unless it can verify the request came from the actual person. When that happens we email you and ask for one document — and we tell you which broker is asking and why in the same email. We never ask out of the blue, and we never hold a copy on file.
When you send it, mask everything except your name, your address, and your date of birth. Black out the document number, any barcode, the photo if you like, and anything else on the page. Those three fields are the only things the broker is matching against; nothing else on your licence is any of their business.
You can also decline. Say no and we will keep pressing the broker through every other channel available — the statutory request, the agent authorization, and escalation where the law provides for it. Some brokers will stall regardless, and your report will show that listing as still open rather than quietly marking it done. Declining costs you nothing with us, and it never affects the rest of your removals.
