How to remove yourself from USPhoneBook
USPhoneBook is a reverse-phone-lookup and people-search site: type a phone number, get the owner’s name, address, and relatives. It also lists you by name. The opt-out is free and — unusually for this category — advertises processing within about 24 hours.
Step-by-step removal
- Find your listing first: use the search on the homepage at usphonebook.com. (Don’t bother building a direct
usphonebook.com/name/city-stURL by hand — that URL pattern has been returning 404s in our runs; homepage search is the reliable path.) - Copy your listing’s URL, then go to the opt-out page: usphonebook.com/opt-out.
- Submit the form with your listing URL and confirm as prompted.
- If the form hangs — it happens; the site sits behind aggressive bot protection — email your removal request with the listing URL to support+optout@usphonebook.com. In our experience the email lane processes properly.
What to watch out for
- Search by your phone numbers too, not just your name — this site is phone-first, and number-keyed records can persist after the name record is gone.
- The form-hang fallback above is the main trap; don’t conclude removal is impossible when the form stalls.
It usually comes back
Fast removal, short memory: USPhoneBook re-ingests phone and public-records data continuously, and listings reappear within months. Re-check your name and each of your numbers periodically — or have every one of them re-checked for you on a 30-to-120-day cycle.
Never fill out another opt-out form again
USPhoneBook is one site. Your information is probably on dozens of its siblings — and most listings quietly return within months. Noira removes you from 690 sites, proves every removal with before-and-after screenshots, and re-checks on a 30-to-120-day cycle, forever.
